WordPower for Accent Devices

The WordPower® language system combines the features of core vocabulary, spelling, and word prediction to facilitate fast and efficient communication for non-speaking individuals in a short period of time.

WordPower and Picture WordPower for Accent® products are vocabularies that have been programmed to take advantage of the newest hardware and software innovations. These sophisticated vocabularies have been designed to make speech generation easy and natural. In addition to these logical and intuitive vocabularies, WordPower and Picture WordPower now serve as the interface for the integrated Accent devices. The system operator can move smoothly between communicating with the device, navigating the internet, playing games on the computer, sending e-mail, and generating documents using WordPower vocabularies.

WordPower includes 12 vocabulary options with versions supporting either Unity® symbols or PCS® symbols. These generative language systems have been customized for a variety of users including direct selectors and scanners.
